The slopes of Rânca
The Rânca slope is ideal for sledding and skiing, both for beginners and advanced skiers. The snow cover is ensured from December to March; the slope is 406 m long, at least 62 meters wide, with a 35-meter elevation difference and an average difficulty level. The ski lift system has been recently modernized, featuring a double-pole ski lift with a high transport capacity. There is an equipment rental center for skis, sleds, etc., as well as terraces where hot drinks and snacks can be served. During the period when the slope is open, numerous events take place, ski and sledding competitions, spectacular ski descents in slalom or speed, laser light shows, fireworks, and music.
